NSSTA Announces New Board Members, 5-1-08

Three longtime structured settlement professionals with more than 80 years combined experience have joined the Board of Directors of the NSSTA, the association announced today. Dan Durbin of Allstate Life Insurance (Northbrook, IL), Larry Niemi of Niemi & Associates (Chicago) and James Logan of James E Logan & Associates (West Bloomfield, MI) were elected to three year terms that end in 2011.

More than 200 members of the structured settlement industry convened in La Jolla today for the industry’s annual conference. This year’s program featured sessions on actuarial pricing, an introduction to the role of the state guarantee fund and the unveiling of a NSSTA-sponsored education video featuring “trial lawyer of the century” Joseph Jamail.
